Who should I bring to my appointment?

Bring a close friend or family member that you value their opinion, someone that you want to be included in this important decision.

We do not recommend bringing young children to your appointment as they may take the focus off you and your experience. However, if they will be included in the appointment, they must be closely monitored at all times.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Please bring undergarments, spandex shorts or spanx as we do not provide undergarments and a barrier between your body and our sample gown is required. Also, please do bring an open mind with you as you are trying on different styles of gowns. Many brides find their gown on their first visit, so don’t be surprised if you do the same! 

How many guests should I bring to my bridal appointment?

While we do not have a guest limit, we do ask that you call ahead if you are bringing more than 6 guests so our team can prepare and comfortably accommodate everyone coming with you. If you would like to include your entire bride tribe during your appointment, we recommend booking an upgraded experience such as our Princess Appointment or After Hours Private Experience to make the store privately yours.

What is the price range of your gowns?

Our gowns range from $900 to $5,400. While our average price point is $1,500 to $1,900, we have carefully curated a collection of top designer styles in the $900 to $1,500 price range that match the quality and beauty that you can expect of every gown we carry. Please keep in mind that this does not include the cost of alterations, which should be expected for every bride to get the perfect fit. 

What are your Private and Princess Appointments?

A private experience or princess appointment is a great option for brides that want a more intimate, personal Ellynne Bridal experience. These appointments are exclusive, private and after hours, allowing for the most individualized time with your bridal consultant(s). Check out our appointments page for more details. 

Why do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?

We want to always give you the best possible experience. Weekends are very busy at our store and appointments are necessary. This ensures you receive your consultant’s full attention.

How long is my appointment?

Bridal appointments are reserved for an hour and a half. Bridesmaid and accessory appointments are reserved for one hour. We recommend you show up a few minutes before your scheduled time to get checked in and meet your consultant.

Are food and beverages allowed at my appointment?

Ellynne Bridal does not allow outside food or beverages in the store during any of our regular business hours and appointments. If you would like a more luxe experience with charcuterie and a celebratory drink, we suggest booking one of our upgraded VIP upgrades, private experiences or princess appointments. What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is an in-store event where the featured designer sends their newest collection that is typically not in stores yet. These events usually last up to three days. If you find your dream bridal gown at a trunk show, be prepared to order that weekend as after the show they will no longer be available to try on.

How far in advance should I order my gown?

We recommend you order your gown at least 9-12 months before your wedding. The designers we carry don’t start making your gown until after you place your order. Plus, you will need time for those final alterations to get the perfect fit. It is never too early to say yes to your dress as wedding gowns can take 4-8 months to arrive in our store.

My wedding is soon and I don’t have a gown yet! Can I still get one in time?

Even if you only have a few months, we have several options to help you find the perfect gown. Most of our designers can offer rush production – this option does come with a rush fee but allows you to select from nearly any gown in the store and in any size. Additionally, several of our collections stock some styles for shipping in a quick as a few weeks. Our team has great relationships with our designers and we can often find the right style in the right size for short wear dates. We also often have a collection of our sample gowns that are available for immediate purchase “off-the-rack”. Whatever your situation, our team is always willing to work diligently to help you find the perfect gown to match your wedding date.

Can I customize my gown?

Yes! Several of our designers allow customization of your gown to make it perfect just for you! From small changes such as, different straps or adding or removing a layer of sparkle or lace, to more drastic changes like changing the bodice shape, overall look of the skirt or even putting two gowns together to create your dream wedding dress.
